I've done every other tour and the tour guides were excellent!November 2019

Go Ahead Tours was chosen for their attention to detail and this tour did not disappoint! I must give credit to our wonderful tour guide, Alessandra, who has over 25 years of experience, and we were the beneficiaries of her compassionate regard for the welfare of our tour. She was attentive and even gave us souvenir moments from every city we visited. I've done every other tour and the tour guides were excellent! I particularly liked our guide for the Colosseum in Rome, a mature woman who was Greek and therefore very personable. Also, Katia, our Vatican and Catacombs tour guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The final evening was hilarious as our farewell dinner consisted of dinner theater billed with four tenors and an opera troupe serenading us throughout our three course meal. Great fun and the perfect meal to end our action-packed 7-day tour of three Italian cities of great art and history!

Amazing trip of a lifetime!November 2019

My husband and I did this tour for our five year anniversary. It was our first trip to Europe and it was AMAZING! Our tour guide Alessandra was fantastic and our group got on so well. We made friends and always had a lot of fun. It's a wonderful mix of guided tours and free time. It was so nice not having to worry about the travel arrangements between cities because Go Ahead did everything. We would definitely book again!

By far the BEST trip everNovember 2019

WOW. That is the best word to sum up this tour. Everything top notch from the private chauffeur on arrival to the 5 star hotels to the fancy restaurants but the icing on the cake is the guided tour guide. Nicola was BY FAR THE BEST trip mom ever. I traveled alone to Europe and she always made sure I fit in well, she was very patient, kind and understanding. Very knowledgeable oh boy she was the absolute best seriously. Natural beauty Wonderful experienceNovember 2019

I love history and old ruins. Greece has been on my list of places to visit since I found out about the Parthenon on the Acropolis. To my delight, we could see the Parthenon in the distance from our hotel in Athens. Our visit to the Acropolis made me dizzy with joy. The SeaJet sunrise trip from Athens to Mykonos allowed me to witness the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen in my life. The view of Mykonos from my room gave me a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea and beautiful sunsets. The highlight of the trip was the visit to the archaeological site of Akrotiri and the optional sunset cruise on the Sunset Oia in Santorini. Walking through an active archaeological site and driving through the Caledera while looking at the beautiful rock formations that make up Greece was breathtaking. We did a lot on this tour but it didn't feel rushed. I learned so much about the formation of Greece and the history of the country. It fulfilled all my travel desires: beautiful landscapes, ruins, learn about a country through travel and see how the people of the country live. I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this trip and would go back to Greece in a heartbeat.

A windy tourNovember 2019

We had a great time, although the wind and other circumstances caused changes to the itinerary. The wind caused the ferry to be canceled so we spent an extra day in Athens and lost a day in Mykonos. While spending the extra day in Athens a friend got injured and we had to spend most of the day in the hospital. Despite all the changes and the emergency, our tour guide was great. She helped at the hospital, kept our friend's spirit alive and helped make any changes to the itinerary. I can't thank her enough for all her help. The trip had great weather except for the wind, beautiful scenery, very good food (I gained 5 pounds), good accommodation and great fellow travelers. This was our 5th tour with Go Ahead and they were great. We are already planning our next trip.
